The Chamber purchased its office facility in Joliet City Center at 63 North Chicago Street in 1999, and remodeled it to become the Chamber office. While operating on a sound financial basis each year, the Chamber has been unable to establish a reserve fund for future building maintenance. Our building is basically sound, but, as with any 90 year old facility, the time for roof replacement, heating and air-conditioning updating, etc. will confront us. JOLIET ON BOARD will enable the Board of Directors to establish the reserve fund we need to continue to operate effectively, as well as to expand membership programs to better server the business community.
